Interiors

Ongoing project

“Only this is known for sure: a given number of objects is shifted within a given space, at times submerged by a quantity of new objects, at times worn out and not replaced; the rule is to shuffle them each time, then try to assemble them.”

–  excerpt from Invisible Cities, Italo Calvino

In 2017 I began taking photos of interiors in Toronto, Canada using my cellphone. This ongoing body of work depicts anonymous spaces that I’ve photographed covertly with an emphasis on those undergoing construction, renovation, demolition or some form of vacancy.
